March – Launch of major health research project
March saw us embark on our first major project working with social marketing agency ICE. An extensive on street survey in Dorset in the last days of February and the first weeks of March was followed by a major telephone survey also in the county, in total generating more than 2,000 responses to the Cancer Awareness Measure (CAM) a survey instrument developed by Cancer Research UK, University College London, Kings College London, and University of Oxford in 2007-2008 to provide a comprehensive assessment of cancer awareness in the general population.
