October – Maximising Sales at Christmas through Research

We’ve been helping 3D get ready for Christmas! This is the second wave of both in venue mystery shopping and telephone calling we have carried out for their Chicago Rock Café venues.

The mystery telephone calls have involved testing how easy it is to book a Christmas Party at a Chicago Rock Café by text, by email and by a call to their central call centre. As part of this process we have called the venues directly and scored them on their ability to sell the caller a Christmas Party.

The mystery shopping has included a customer satisfaction survey for each of their 50 venues nationwide, looking closely at their service levels and standards on a busy Friday or Saturday night. The results will compare their performance against the first wave of mystery shopping and clearly identify the areas of success and the key areas requiring improvement including a valuation of the missed sales.
